LEARN MORE ABOUT THE ARTISTS!
Arrive early and enjoy a pre-show discussion, beginning at 6:45pm on the
night of most shows. Hosted by local experts, these discussions are a fun way
to get more out of the performance by learning about the artist and art form.
Part presentation, part Q&A, these discussions are popular with novices and
aficionados alike.
Individual show listings give details of the discussions.
Just look for the >>pre-show! symbol.
Complimentary coffee and cookies are served.

EXPLORE OUR GALLERY!
When you arrive early for a performance you can also visit the Gallery of Art &
Design, or stroll through the Gallery during intermission. Located just off the
Stewart Theatre lobby, the Gallery provides direct and unique access to
North Carolina State University’s collection of textiles, ceramics, photography, architectural drawings, paintings, and outsider art by regional and national artists – as well as changing exhibitions of the finest regional, national and international visual arts. Exhibitions are free, and open during most performances.
Look for the Gallery symbol in the brochure to see which exhibitions will be open during the Center Stage performances of your choice. The Gallery is open Wed-Fri, noon to 8pm, and Sat- Sun, 2-8pm. On the night of Center Stage performances, the Gallery remains open through intermission (when applicable). For information on Gallery lectures and receptions, visit www.ncsu.edu/gad or call 515-3503.
