About Dr. T. L. Taylor
Dr. Earp is co-director of the Internet Security and Privacy Project at
NCSU and teaches in the NCSU Electronic Commerce Program. Her current
research interests include information security and privacy, especially
as they relate to electronic commerce applications. She received her
Ph.D. in Information Technology from the Department of Management
Science and Information Technology at Virginia Tech in 1997. Her
dissertation research involved the application of artificial
intelligence techniques to computer network routing. She received her
M.S. in Statistics at Virginia
Tech, and she holds a B.S. in Mathematics and a B.S. in Statistics from
