Doodles and Photoshop

I have always wanted to be able to draw and paint. Took a few lessons as a child. But either it was something that wasn't meant to be, or I didn't stick with it long enough. Over the years though, I have become something of a compulsive doodler. I really have trouble making it through a meeting or a presentation without putting something down on paper. I recently became intrigued with the idea of taking some of those old and tattered doodles and seeing if I could clean them up in Photoshop.

Below are the two I have done, I'm working on a third that is in really bad shape. Faded and attacked by bugs. Will post it when I get it done.

The Mask

The Musician

This is actually an expriment in restoration, I used the original for a template to transfer the drawing to a tabletop about three times the original size. So I drew a grid over it, etc. The original got tossed in a drawer for a couple of years. This is a digitally restored version of the damaged original.
