Preface

Several members of the NC State Communication Department addressed concerns relating to communication, war, and terrorism on October 4, 2001 in a program entitled "Communicating War and Terror."  The panel presented papers in the Caldwell lounge to members of the NC State community.

Dr. Ken Zagacki presented "The Rhetoric of War," Dr. Sarah Stein presented "Alternative Frames of Terrorism," Dr. Jessica Jameson presented "Resolving Intractable Conflict," and Dr. Steve Wiley presented "Changing National Identities and Boundaries."
