Dr.
A. Celeste Farr joined the faculty of NCSU from Michigan State University. While at MSU, Dr. Farr earned her Ph.D. in Communication specializing
in Interpersonal Communication, Health Communication, and Persuasion. Dr. Farr also earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication
and Psychology and a Master of Arts degree in Organizational Communication
from Eastern Michigan University.
Dr.
Farr’s current research is focused on the measurement of credibility,
expertise, and attitudes to develop more effective health messages. Her previous research has dealt with exposure to entertainment education
messages, the future explication of the credibility construct, and
explication of the expertise construct.
