GM: That's what I'm talking--that's what kind of rivalry I'm talking about,
and, uh, and he even, he even carried me to court and, and lied against
me, my own--you know, my dad's brother.
FW: For what?
GM: For, uh-- I was coming from oystering one day. That was before I started
this job. And it was in a fog, and I had my .22 with me, rifle. And it
was a bunch of geese jumped ahead of me, and I shot into 'em and killed
one. And I took that goose right to a friend of mine's house, right there.
Nobody seen me kill it, nobody seen me pick it, nobody seen me take it
to this house but the grandson of this game warden. And he went home and
told him, but-- And then he come down there that night, the game warden,
and just barged right in, you know, forced his way in, and took that goose
right off the table and accused us both of, of, uh-- I got two years on
probation and eight hundred dollars' fine out of that.
