My day was full of activities. Are you ready to follow me on my first day? Great! Let’s go! The train arrived in Petrozavodsk at 7am and my host was waiting for me at the train station. Another host family gave us a ride in their car to my host’s apartment building. My host lives alone and is an English teacher. Her apartment was small, but quite comfortable. My host asked if I wanted to take a nap after my long journey, but I was too excited to sleep. We had a quick breakfast of tea, yogurt, and cheese sandwiches. Then we decided to take a trolley into downtown Petrozavodsk.
