While we were at the springs, we also visited a small museum and saw a painting of Peter the
Great. He was 6 feet 8 inches tall, which was really big for people
in those days. No wonder everyone looked up to him and followed
his orders!
There was a beautiful small church there, too, and we got to go
inside and take some pictures. The Russian Orthodox churches have
a lot of paintings of religious figures or icons. The icon colors
were still very bright on all of the paintings, in spite of the
fact that they were very old.
