After we got home, we headed out for dinner at an artist's house. On the way, we stopped at a small, bright blue church and got to see one of the priests conducting a service. He was dressed in long white and black robes and had golden scarves and beads around his neck. He was swinging around a ball on a chain. The ball was spewing out smoke or incense. Did you know that Russians don't sit down during a church service? Some of their services last 2 hours! They light a lot of candles too, so the church is very smoky, but beautiful.
