We had a quick tour of the building and their Veps museum. Veps are the indigenous
peoples of Karelia. We were amazed to see all of the crafts children
were doing.

Veps are the original settlers of Karelia.
Some of the craft rooms included sewing, clay and woodworking,
horticulture, and music and dance. They also had a very large
library and a performance theatre with a moving stage.
