As we walked to our bus,
we had an opportunity to bargain with local vendors. It would be good practice for our afternoon shopping trip near the Church on the Spilled Blood. By this time, we were starving and really glad to arrive at The Farm House Restaurant.

Not only were we served four courses, but we were given musical toys so we could participate in the folk music show. The big meal and the celebration were very similar to the way many Americans would be celebrating Easter back home. Russians celebrate Easter a week later than we do. It is always preceded by "Clean Friday." On this day everyone cleanes and polishes to get ready for Easter celebrations.

We had a little scare when the bus driver couldn't get the bus started and were tempted to hop on the horse and wagon passing by. Unfortunately, they were going in the wrong direction!
