$100 Prize for 1st Place Poem and Story
Deadline: Entries must be postmarked by September 30, 2008
GUIDELINES
Number of entries and page restrictions: Send one copy of up to 3 poems, 10 pages maximum. Short stories may not exceed 2,500 words. All submissions should include a cover page with the author’s name, address, phone, email, and titles of poems or stories. Author’s name may not appear on the entry.
Note: Entries cannot be returned. After October 31, 2008 check website for winners, www.ncsu.edu/chass/obsidian.
Entry Fee: A $20 entry fee (checks made out to Obsidian) covers the cost of up to three poems or one short story. Multiple entries will be allowed provided each contains a separate entry fee and cover letter.
