Minor in Japan Studies
Except as noted below, a course taken to satisfy one major requirement may not be counted towards satisfaction of any other major requirement. The rule of thumb is, "No double counting." A minimum GPA of 2.2 is required to transfer upon request into the Religious Studies major. Students with GPAs less than 2.2 but at or above 2.0 may apply for admission to the major. A copy of any student papers written for any course above REL 317, with instructor's comments, will be kept in a department file to help with evaluation of teaching and the curriculum.
