Grads entering Fall 2006

  • Advisor Selection Form due by October 31, 2006.
  • Research Advisory Committee selection along with Plan of Work due by July 31, 2007.
  • NC Residency documentation due by June 1, 2007 by all domestic, non-resident students. Do not wait until last minute to obtain documents.
  • Participation required in the Dept. Poster Session in March 2008. Check department calendar for date.
  • Cumes are to be completed by May 2008.
  • Request to Schedule Preliminary Exam due two months prior to Preliminary Examination date or no later than October 15, 2008.
  • Preliminary Exam (Ph.D. only) to take place by the end of December 31, 2008.
  • Formal Department Seminar (Ph.D. only) required by the December 31, 2009.
  • Thesis/dissertation must due to the Advisory Committee two weeks prior to final examination date.
  • Submit thesis/dissertation to the Thesis Editor in the Graduate School after successful completion of the final oral examination.

Grads entering Spring 2006
