Academic Advising

Each enrolled chemistry major is assigned a Department of Chemistry faculty advisor. However, it is the primary responsibility of students to plan their academic program and to meet graduation requirements. This involves the student being informed of curriculum requirements and policies, meeting academic deadlines, and consulting with their Department of Chemistry faculty advisor or or Dr. Phil Brown, Director of Undergraduate Studies. Detailed information regarding the student’s and the faculty advisor’s responsibilities can be found in the NCSU Handbook for Advising and Teaching.
