Graduate Visit Weekend

This weekend is by invitation only and reserved for applicants who have received an official letter of admission from the Department of Chemistry. Our weekend activities will be March 13, 14 and 15, 2009. Detailed information about the weekend will be sent to invited students. Travel arrangements and hotel reservations will be handled by the Graduate Office. Travel costs, hotel accommodations and meals will be paid for by the department.

Individual Visits

The Department of Chemistry extends to admitted prospective graduate students an invitation to visit the department to meet with its graduate faculty, graduate students and to see its facilities. These visits are arranged by Ms. Maria Moreno, our Graduate Office Administrator. All or part of these visits are paid for by the department for admitted applicants who have received an offer letter to join the department's graduate studies program. However, if a prospective graduate student in the Raleigh area would like to visit the department prior to being accepted into the graduate program, Ms. Moreno will be happy to arrange for these visits as well, but the department cannot guarantee monetary compensation in such cases.
