• Pinwheel promises to be an exciting day of diverse shorts. Support local film, have a great time, and just walk in...it's free and open to the public!

  It is also an opportunity for local filmmakers and actors to network and you're welcome to place material about your production company, upcoming film, etc. on our "promotions table".

  If you want to see a particular film, come within 30 minutes to an hour of its scheduled screening time.

From Rocky Mount via US 64 (I-95 from New York)
Take US 64 West to Raleigh. (US 64 West turns into New Bern Avenue.) Follow New Bern Avenue to downtown Raleigh. New Bern Avenue bears off into Edenton. Edenton turns into Hillsborough Street which runs past campus. Turn left onto campus at Pullen Road (at the Bell Tower). After the traffic circle, take the third right onto Cates Avenue. Go through one stoplight (veer right). Witherspoon Student Center will be the last building on the right when Cates Ave. ends at Dan Allen Drive.

From Durham via US 70
Take US 70 to downtown Raleigh.(US 70 turns into Glenwood Avenue.) Follow Glenwood Avenue to Oberlin Road. Turn right onto Oberlin Road (approximately 3 miles). Turn right onto Hillsborough Street. Take an immediate left at Pullen Road (at the Bell Tower) to enter the campus. After the traffic circle, take the third right onto Cates Avenue. Go through one stoplight (veer right). Witherspoon Student Center will be the last building on the right when Cates Ave. ends at Dan Allen Drive.

From I-40
Take the Gorman Street exit off I-40. Turn onto Gorman Street towards NC State (left if coming from I-40 East, right from I-40 West) and follow it to the second traffic light. Turn right onto Avent Ferry Road. At the third light, cross over Western Blvd to enter campus; Avent Ferry Road will become Morrill Drive. Proceed down Morrill Drive until it intersects Cates Ave; take a left at the stoplight. Witherspoon Student Center will be the last building on the right when Cates Ave. ends at Dan Allen Drive.

From Fayetteville via US 401
Take US 401 to Raleigh. Then take I-40 West to Gorman Street. Turn right onto Gorman Street and follow it to the second traffic light. Turn right onto Avent Ferry Road. At the third light, cross over Western Blvd to enter campus; Avent Ferry Road will become Morrill Drive. Proceed down Morrill Drive until it intersects Cates Ave; take a left at the stoplight. Witherspoon Student Center will be the last building on the right when Cates Ave. ends at Dan Allen Drive.

From Henderson via US 1 South
Take US 1 (which turns into Capital Boulevard) to downtown Raleigh. Turn right onto Edenton Street. Edenton Street merges with Hillsborough Street. Follow Hillsborough Street and then turn left into campus at Pullen Road (at the Bell Tower). After the traffic circle, take the third right onto Cates Avenue. Go through one stoplight (veer right). From Florida via I-95
Take I-95 to I-40 West. Proceed on I-40 West into Raleigh to the Gorman Street exit. Turn right onto Gorman Street and follow it to the second traffic light. Turn right onto Avent Ferry Road.
