It was nice not to have to bring an overhead projector to the room when I needed one.
Thanks.
Good first experience for me.
Scheduling is very frustrating. I am finding that classes are routinely being scheduled in these classes for faculty that have no interest in using any of the equipment. This definately needs some work.
1. Set up more 2. I was forced to fill in answers on this survey related how easy it was to use some items that I don't use at all.
Great job!

Regarding question 15: I am spread very thin. I'd need to know that there is a skill in the session that I don't currently use, but that I expect would enhance my class. I always feel that I am running behind on using technology because of not having time
The study sounds like a great idea, but I am graduating and will no longer be teaching Public Speaking at NC State.
These are excellent teaching tools for the classroom. They may come into more use if they existed throughout the campus. Class notes and formats have to change to accomodate the new equipment.
I want to teach all my courses in the ClassTech room in Poe Hall (Room 218). Please, if you can, see to it that my requests to use it in the future are honored.

I've already mentioned to Stan that the biggest problem I had was not having markers for the white board. I might use the desktop in the future, but I generally would rather just print things out and use the document carmera. Now I am very annoyed that I

This is a wonderful setup for statistics classes. Much of what we do 'in the real world' is based on computer applications. It is good to show the students practical examples of how to apply the methods that they learn.
We need this technology in as many classrooms as possible!
On the training it would depend on what type of technology the training was for. One other technology that I didn't list above that we would (and are going to) use is CPS or classroom response tech. wherein students have handheld response units. We are or
I am a part-timer and will not be teaching at the universtiy after the summer, thus my reluctance to be involved in future surveys.
I consider it crucial for up-to-date pedagogy to have such equipment available. The ClassTech Project is a crucial part of the effective use of instructional techology, complementing other uses of technology (such as WebCT, etc.). The support structure, s
Good support. Having the equipment in the room is much better than having to bring and set up a portable projector when needed.

It was nice to have the technology in the classroom I used last semester (Dabney 220). The only drawback was that part of the blackboard was obscured by the computer monitor for some students. I use the chalk board quite a lot, and was quite restricted in
I hope the new classrooms in the new Centennial buildings will be similarly equipped
If both sections of my course had been scheduled in similar rooms, I might have invested the necessary time in learning how to use the technology. But I'm very skeptical about the advisibility of technologizing the study of literature. I'd prefer that the

ClassTech rooms are a great addition to the learning and teaching experience. They facilitate organization and presentation of course content and help students learn how to use technology in their own presentations.
