The Non-Degree Studies (NDS) Program is administered by the Department of Registration and Records and provides individuals who have not matriculated into a degree program access to credit courses at NC State University on a part-time basis.
Through Non-Degree Studies, individuals can take undergraduate or graduate courses to:
- Meet NC State University admission requirements,
- Transfer credits to another university,
- Update professional skills, or
- Enrich personal experiences.
What You Are Applying For:
You are applying for Non-Degree Studies; you may register for a maximum course load of 2 courses + a Physical Education per semester on a space available basis. You may choose from any On Campus or Distance Education courses. All course work carries degree credit. Most of the University's academic support services, such as the library, are available to NDS students; however, social, athletic, health, and similar non-academic services are not available.
Admission to NDS does not imply admission to an undergraduate or graduate degree program.
