ACCIDENTAL LANDSCAPES (Workshop) image of a landscape art quilt by Peggy Forster

Instructor: Peggy Forster

Learn to “paint” a landscape with fabric. This is a relaxed, free-form technique; no templates or patterns are required. We will learn key elements of design, then how to cut and layer fabric to make your own landscape art quilt. You should be able to complete a landscape with borders and be ready to quilt by the end of the class. Bring your own sewing machine or reserve one of ours. (The Crafts Center has four sewing machines for use during class by the first four students who request to use one.) Students are responsible for providing their own supplies and will receive a supply list upon registration.

Skill level: Beginner and up. You should already know how to use a basic sewing machine.
