Rich in visual texture, the urban landscape is perfectly suited for exploring new techniques in digital photography. This class will begin with a Thursday evening in-class session aimed at the equipment and technique used in making quality B & W conversions, how to use HDR for getting more out of your images, and when to use infrared for creating dramatic special effects.
Then, early on Saturday morning, while light and shadow are at their best, the class will meet downtown to put their newfound skills to work. We will gather for lunch at a local diner and talk shop before heading back out to shoot some more. A display of your best images will be shared on the Crafts Center’s Flickr site!
