Class & Workshop Fees: The Crafts Center is funded primarily by
NCSU student fees and community participation. Registration fees are based upon your affiliation
to the university. Class fee includes a studio pass for the entire semester.
Level I - Student Price - for fee paying NC State students only; this price is not available to tuition waiver recipients, non-fee students, or spouses of students.
Level II - Affiliate Price - for NCSU alumni*; parent of a current NCSU student;
NCSU employee*; tuition waiver recipients*; Centennial Partner*; non-fee paying or Encore students*;or any senior citizen (age 60+)*
(*Level II discount is not extended to spouses)
Level III - Base Price - for the general public
Please note that all participants in glass, lapidary, jewelry/metals, wood & photography/darkroom classes must be age 18 or over with current health insurance. Minimum age for classes in all other studio areas is 14.
Multiple Class Discount: If registered for one class or workshop, pay the Level I price for one additional class of equal or lesser value taken in the same semester. Workshops are not discounted.
Studio Passes: Studio
access is available to those not taking
a class; first time users must complete an orientation before using the facilities. Studio access may limited or unavailable during class times. Studio Passes are valid for the current semester only.
Studio Pass Discount: Workshop participants may purchase a studio pass for the studio related to the workshop at the Level I price.
Payment: Payment may be made by cash, check or money order made payable to University Student Center. Checks returned by your bank for any reason will incur a $25 return check fee.
Cancellations: For a refund, The Crafts Center staff must be notified of a cancellation 7 days before the class or workshop begins; $10 is non-refundable. If the class or workshop is cancelled by the Crafts Center, you will receive a full refund.
Absences: To receive the best experience and get the most out of your class, attendance at all classess is important as there are no provisions for make-up sessions for missed classes.
Accessibility: Public areas of the building are wheelchair accessible. If special needs are anticipated, please contact our staff when registering.
