To provide unique learning experiences that embody the value of
leadership, service, responsible citizenship and ethics.
We envision leaders with wisdom, compassion and integrity who will
promote a lasting commitment to the betterment of society.
The Center for Student Leadership, Ethics & Public Service
was created in 1998, starting off with just a few programs. Since
then, the center continues to grow, adding new programs each year
with the goal of serving the students of NC State University. We
specifically offer opportunities to the NC State community that
will result in growth and development for the servant leaders of
today and tomorrow. We currently offer 18 programs which will result
in approximately 140 events during the 2005-2006 academic year.
With workshops, seminars, conferences, speakers, and tons of events throughout the year, the Center for Student Leadership, Ethics & Public Service has something for everyone and offers a great alternative to that crazy academic schedule. Whether you are looking for a volunteer event, a way to enhance your leadership skills, or a chance to meet like-minded students, we have something for you. The best part about CSLEPS is that there are no obligations to participate other than what you are interested in and dedicate yourself to. Check out what’s going on weekly by registering with the office to receive our E-Newsletter or email one of the staff members with your questions. Find out what’s happening today and how you can get involved!
Regardless of your level of leadership experience, you have something to contribute to the NC State community. Take the time to investigate, and participate in the great opportunities that await you in the Center.
