Dash In The Dark is a philanthropy "fun-run" organized by the Leadership In Action Program. This event takes place on Halloween and is opened to currently enrolled NC State students. Participants will take a run through campus at night as a way to raise money and kick off Halloween. Costumes are encouraged.**
- The members of Leadership In Action choose a non-profit or agency to receive the profits from this fun run. The 2012 agency is To Be Annouced.
- 2011 Recipient: Haven House Services, Inc.
**
- As this is an evening event, all runners must wear tennis shoes / running shoes
- This is not a race ... it is a fun run so we ask that people run safely and be considerate of other runners. There will be a "lead runner" that everyone will have to stay behind so that we run a safe course through campus.
- If choosing to wear a Halloween costume I understand:
A) My costume should not create a trip hazard (i.e.: long coats, skirts, etc)
B) No masks are allowed
C) I must have a full field of vision (no head hear or hats that obstruct my vision/peripheral vision)
D) My hands must be free - I am not allowed to carry any items related to my costume
