The Women In Leadership Development (WILD) Conference takes place
each fall and is designed to give women students the opportunity
to explore and strengthen their leadership skills while celebrating
the unique abilities they have as women. We want to foster a supportive
environment in which to explore the challenges women leaders encounter
and to teach knowledge, skills and wisdom that participants will
find helpful in reaching their full potential. Take time to learn,
time to reflect, time to energize, time to be WILD!
This conference is planned and coordinated by representatives from nine colleges and universities in the Raleigh, Durham, and Chapel Hill area: Duke University, Durham Tech, NC Central, NC State, Meredith College, Peace College, St. Augustine’s College, UNC-Chapel Hill, and Wake Tech.

The NC State delegation to this conference is co-sponsored by CSLEPS, the NC State Women’s Center, and WISE (Women in Science and Engineering). Attending the WILD Conference counts as 1 elective towards the Visionary Leaders Certificate.
This conference is a collaborative effort, and the Planning Committee consists of staff from multiple Triangle-area colleges and universities. Each campus handles its own student registration, most commonly through the leadership program office or women’s center. Check with your campus’s organizing office to see if transportation is being provided and if there are limited scholarships available to attend the conference.
