Mission Statement:

The mission of the WILD Conference is to inspire, develop, and empower a diverse community of collegiate women as leaders. We strive to do this by teaching relevant skills, creating networking opportunities, recognizing and challenging structural barriers, and encouraging self-reflection.

Vision Statement:

Our vision is an inclusive world where all women recognize their leadership potential, have opportunities to act on that potential, and mentor a future generation of women leaders.

Goals of the Conference:

1. Provide workshops that allow for personal self-assessment
2. Incorporate feminist theory, practice, and/or ideas into workshops
3. Provide variety of leadership models
4. Provide workshops that offer specific and practical leadership skill development
5. Provide information and referrals about issues that disproportionately affect women (e.g. structural barriers)
6. Provide networking opportunities
7. Create an inspirational learning environment
8. Provide workshops for both emerging and seasoned leaders
