Position: To assist CCSA Division staff in order to expedite internal processes within our seven divisions.
Description: Who we are: Child Care Services Association (CCSA) is a nationally recognized nonprofit working to ensure affordable, accessible, high quality child care for all families through research, services and advocacy. Volunteer start dates, end dates, number of hours needed and time frames needed vary according to the project. Duties are primarily administrative and clerical. May consists of filing, copying, collating, sorting and assisting with mass mailings to our constituents. Some database entry and well as phone calls to clients may be required. We have volunteer needs for special events such as the Annual Breakfast which takes place each March. This year's event is scheduled for March 7, 2008. The volunteer need for this event will primarily consist of aiding in the prep work for the event, and perhaps the day of. Another special annual event is The Week of the Young Child which only impact child care providers, with no interfacing with children. The volunteer need for this event will primarily consist of aiding in the prep work for this event, filling gift bags and aiding in delivery of these gift bags. Aiding in handing out programs, seating and parking may be responsibilities as well for the day of the event. This event takes place each April, and this year's event is scheduled the week of April 13-19, 2008. We also have ongoing fundraising related volunteer needs as well. The primary roles will consist of constituent mailings, data entry and phone calls.
