Communities in Schools (C.I.S.) of Wake County is dedicated to connecting students with community resources and educational opportunities to help students succeed in school and life. All it takes is a true desire to help children and one hour per week! C.I.S. focuses on students that are academically at risk. Brentwood Elementary has a large population of ESL students (English as a Second Language) and not only ESL students but all C.I.S. students at Brentwood would benefit greatly from tutoring sesisons. This is an opportunity to make a huge impact on the life of a child. |
