| Description: |
Advantage Hospice and Home Care provides care and support for terminally ill patients and their families in Johnston, Wake, Wilson, and surrounding counties. We cannot fully provide for their needs without the assistance of caring volunteers. We are in need of volunteers to assist in the following areas:
Ø Providing companionship for patients
Ø Reading with patients
Ø Playing card games, crossword
puzzles, coloring, etc.
Ø Listening to music
Ø Light yard work
Ø Light household duties
Ø Praying with patients
Ø And much, much more!!
Volunteers are required to complete 1 hour of volunteer time once a month. Volunteers can visit more than once a month if their schedule permits them to.
