Celebrate your success with this program. Earn a Visionary Leaders Certificate signed by the Director of this office, the Dean of your College, and the Vice Chancellor of Student Affairs.

The Visionary Leaders Certificate is earned by attending 10 Leadership Development Series workshops - 6 core or required and 4 electives - and completing 20 hours of community service.

After completing your Leadership Portfolio, you may bring it by our office or call us at 515-9248, so that we can review it. At that time you will schedule a meeting with one of our staff members to review your portfolio. Students who complete this process will then be awarded a Visionary Leader Certificate.

Bryan Swierenga

One student each year will be selected and recognized for the most outstanding portfolio and will receive the Ron Butler Leadership Award. The 2004 winner was Bryan Swierenga.

Deadline to receive your certificate for the fall semester is March 21, 2005 however you do not have to complete all the requirements in one semester or one year. You may spread this out over the time you are here as a student.
