We all negotiate every day, at work, at home and in our personal lives. But very few of us have formal training in how to negotiate. This workshop introduces, develops and allows participants to hone basic negotiation skills. After a brief introduction, participants will negotiate with each other in a simulated setting. We will then discuss and compare the outcomes and processes that participants experienced. This interactive experience allows participants to learn from others' successes (and mistakes) as well as to practice their own negotiation skills. Take away pointers for successful negotiations in all domains of your life.
Registration required –
The workshop is open at no cost to all NCSU women faculty, staff, and students, limited to the first 30 who sign up.
Rachel Croson will also give the keynote address at the Sisterhood Dinner in the evening. Separate registration is required for that event.
