Dr. Rachel Croson speak on negotiation tactics and gender differences.

Ever wondered whether your negotiation effectiveness was influenced by your gender? How do stereotypes affect negotiations? The talk will discuss these questions, as well as offer take away pointers on negotiating more effectively across gender lines.

Biography
Rachel Croson is the Director of The Negotiations Center at the University of Texas at Dallas. She earned her PhD in Economics from Harvard University. From 1994 through 2007 she taught Negotiation at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania to undergraduates, MBA students and executives. In her role as Director she brings together researchers from multiple fields and practitioners with an interest in negotiation. Her research has touched on numerous negotiation topics, including gender differences, lying and deception, international negotiation strategies, and negotiating via e-mail and other technologies.
