Continuing Education Units (CEUs)

The CEU is a nationally recognized uniform unit of measurement designed to permanently record an individual's non-credit continuing education accomplishments in increments of one CEU per 10 contact hours of instruction.

The successful completion of most CTU courses entitles participants to earn 0.6 Continuing Educations Units (CEUs) per day of instruction for most programs.

A record of CEUs earned may be obtained 60 days after a program completion date by writing:

This request must include your:

  • Your full name (including your middle name) Birth date (in lieu of social security number, your date of birth is required as a personal identifier by this university) Your current address Your NC State Personal ID# (if you know your number)
  • A check or money order in the amount of $5.00 made payable to North Carolina State University
