DanceVisions Repertory Company

With respect to the history of DanceVisions – a student organization founded in 1977 that continues to thrive independently of the Dance Program – the DanceVisions Repertory Company performs choreographic works with an Afrocentric perspective by students and guest artists. The company performs in the Dance Program Fall Concert, presents a formal spring concert in NC State's Stewart Theatre, and performs in other on- and off-campus venues each year. Students in the DanceVisions Repertory Company rehearse 2-3 days per week, take technique classes, work with guest choreographers and teachers, and develop their own student choreography.

The company rehearses on Mondays and Wednesdays (5:45-8pm) during the Fall semester, and on Mondays and Wednesdays (5:45-8pm) and the first and third Saturdays of each month (11am-3pm) during the Spring semester.
