NC High School Diversity Leadership Conference ($25,000 per year) - This conference invites 50 -75 students from local NC high schools to attend workshops at NC State focused on providing the students with life skills (college applications, career opportunities, diversity, drug and alcohol education, human sexuality, etc.).   The workshops will be presented by NC State students.   NC State students will be mentored by volunteer NC State faculty and staff.  Funding would pay for a t-shirt, lunch, a small stipend for the NC state faculty who mentor the students, and cost of materials.

Faculty Diversity Recruitment Symposium ($10,000 per year) - Provides annual funds to bring promising graduate students to NC State for faculty orientations and faculty job interviews.
