NC State Diversity Fellowship Program - ($10,000,000 endowment) Forty
to fifty outstanding NC State University freshmen of diverse backgrounds
(including, but not limited to, ethnic, cultural, gender, religious,
sexual orientation, socio-economic diversity) would be selected
to become NC State University Diversity Fellows. The Diversity
Fellows program would offer scholarship money ($3,000 per year
for up to three years) and a three-year co-curricular program of
diversity activities and learning experiences designed to promote
and enhance the Fellows exposure to campus, state, and national,
and international issues related to diversity.
Diversity Post-Doctoral Studies Fellows Program ($200,000
per year) - This fund would invite two or three recent doctoral
students to come to NC State University to conduct research and

for research, travel, etc. This program would include partnership
