Diversity Research, Evaluation, and Impact
It is important to the success of diversity initiatives that campuses
assess the effectiveness of their efforts. It is also essential
to convey the results of research to the general public to increase
awareness of and support for diversity in higher education. This
section includes research and assessment information about the
diversity programs and practices in higher education. There is
a link to the ERIC Clearinghouse on Higher Education; a database
containing more than 850,000 abstracts of documents and journal
articles on education research and practice. In addition, researchers
will find a link to the University of Maryland diversity database
with extensive listings of diversity research and resources.
Search the database using keyword “Diversity” and thousands of research
reports concerning diversity (some full text) will be available to
you.
