Priority registration is necessary for many academic accommodations and services such as extended time on tests, alternate format materials, etc. This is also an opportunity to plan a schedule that matches individual access needs. Priority registration can be completed independently; however, students who need accommodations or services to participate in priority registration should contact their DSO service provider. Appointments are also available to discuss access issues related to the class schedule. Responsibilities are as follows:
Adviser
- Provide early advising and PIN's to allow students to participate in priority registration.
Student
DSO
- Send DSO students an email with information about procedures and window access dates. This email is sent in September for Spring semester registration and February for Summer Sessions and Fall semester registrations.
Notes
- The academic department registers incoming freshmen. Registered students can contact their DSO service provider if assistance is needed regarding access issues related to the class schedule.
