Priority registration is necessary for many academic accommodations and services such as extended time on tests, alternate format materials, etc. This is also an opportunity to plan a schedule that matches individual access needs. Priority registration can be completed independently; however, students who need accommodations or services to participate in priority registration should contact their DSO service provider. Appointments are also available to discuss access issues related to the class schedule. Responsibilities are as follows:
Adviser
- Provide early advising to allow students to participate in priority registration.
- Advisers can confirm that a student is eligible for early advising by checking the student's enrollment appointment in MyPack Portal.
Student
- Check MyPack Portal for your early registration appointment.
- To view your enrollment appointment, which is the earliest date and time you may begin registering for classes, log in to MyPack Portal and click on Student Self Service menu option, then click on Enrollment Dates.
- Follow the steps in the Enrollment (Registration) Guide.
- If you have any questions or need additional information about priority registration, contact the Department of Registration and Records.
- Submit a DSO Student Request for Accommodations form or Student Request for Services (Non ADA/504). It is strongly advised that you complete the form as soon as possible if you need accommodations and services that require advanced planning (Alternate Format, Accessible Websites, Interpreting, White Boards, Accessible Desks and Tables, Academic Assistants, Captioning, Text Access, etc.). This will allow arrangements to be made in advance of the semester so that accommodations and services are not delayed.
