Testing Accommodations at the DSO

The DSO provides testing space and delivers testing accommodations and services as a service to faculty as our space and staff permit. DSO provides testing accommodations and services when:

All tests that students will take at the DSO should be scheduled as early in the semester as possible. Testing appointments are first come, first served and are made by the student once he or she has already requested his or her accommodations and met with the course instructor(s). Students are not allowed to schedule and take a test on the same day without the permission of the Coordinator of Testing Accommodations. Changes for the Fall 2009 Semester

New for Students:

Starting this semester, the DSO is using an online scheduling system. In short, students will now schedule their own exams at DSO. This will greatly increase the efficiency of the Testing Accommodation system by allowing the Coordinator if Testing Accommodations to focus on administering tests and working with Faculty. To register an account on this system, go to https://www.securedata-trans10.com/ap/ncstateuniversity/index.php?page=10. This is also the login page for students to schedule their exams. There you will find the Scheduling Instructions for Students.

New for Instructors:

The DSO has revamped the old Modified Testing Agreement into a shorter, more user-friendly form. The DSO Testing Authorization form is available at http://www.ncsu.edu/dso/forms/ and can be submitted by the push of a button. Please refer to Testing Information for Instructors for more information.
