Mozilla Firefox Users - Basic Scanning

• Load page(s) face down in the feeder
  
• Open Mozilla Firefox. Type 152.1.25.244 into the address box if you are not directed to the scanner interface
  
• Select the desired document profile from the drop-down menu
  
• Click the "Scan" button
  

Click the "Custom" button to access additional scanning options including paper size, duplex scanning, multipage documents, and more. Please Note: Duplex scanning is not possible with no file compression; 2.) The default save destination in Mozilla Firefox is the desktop.

Internet Explorer Users

Before scanning make sure that the QuickTime MIME options are properly set for the scanner interface:

• Click Start -> Settings -> Control Panel -> QuickTime -> MIME Settings
  
• Expand the "Images" menu and remove the check mark "TIFF image file"
  
• Click "OK"
  

Basic Scanning

• Load page(s) face down in the feeder
  
• Open Internet Explorer
  
• Type 152.1.25.244 into the address box
  
• Select the desired document profile from the drop-down menu
  
• Click the "Scan" button
  

Click the "Custom" button to access additional scanning options including paper size, duplex scanning, multipage documents, and more. Please Note: Duplex scanning is not possible with no file compression; 2.) If you have chosen the TIFF format, you will have the choice to open or to save your document; if you have chosen the PDF format, the file will open once the last page has been scanned.

Opening your document with Kurzweil

• Save your document
  
• Double click on the Kurzweil 3000 Pro icon
  
• Select File -> Open, or press Ctrl+O
  
• Navigate up the directory tree to the file
  
• Select your file and click "Open"
