Katina Blue is the Director of Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery at North Carolina State University and a Certified Business Continuity Planner (CBCP) through the Disaster Recovery Institute. With over ten years of Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery experience working with state agencies and academia, Katina has implemented the Professional Practices of Business Continuity. As Disaster Recovery Coordinator for Administrative Computing Services at NC State University, the Disaster Recovery Journal chose the NC State Disaster Recovery Project for Centralized Computing and Communications as a model plan for Planners to follow. Katina is a member of the Contingency Planners of the Carolinas (CPAC) and President of the North Carolina Living Disaster Recovery Planning System (LDRPS) Regional User Group (RUG). Katina Blue holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, a Master of Public Administration with a concentration in Emergency Management and is currently attending the University of North Carolina at Fayetteville State pursuing a Doctorate of Education in Educational Leadership. Katina is also a graduate of the Masters Level Certificate program in Community Preparedness Disaster Management Program at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill School of Public Health, Department of Health Policy and Administration.

Joseph (Joe) Darkoh is a Business Continuity Planner at North Carolina State University and an Associate Business Continuity Planner (ABCP) through the Disaster Recovery Institute. As a Business Continuity Planner, Joe Darkoh operates as an Administrator and Software Trainer of the Living Disaster Recovery Planning System (LDRPS). Joe Darkoh also conducts risk assessments, independent business continuity plan development and fosters collaborative partnerships with NC State departments. With five years of extensive business continuity planning experience, Joe Darkoh is currently working to attain the next level of certification as a Certified Business Continuity Planner (CBCP) through the Disaster Recovery Institute.
Joe Darkoh is an active Member of the Business Continuity Professionals of the Carolinas and the Carolina LDRPS Regional User Group (RUG). Joe Darkoh holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering with a minor in Business Management from North Carolina State University.
