Risk Assessment/BIA

NC State University is conducting Risk Assessments for over 300 departments analyzing risks using the COSO framework. The results of the Risk Assessment will help determine what the most likely events that could happen which would prevent NC State from supporting our mission of providing services that support students, teaching, outreach and extension. Business Continuity plans will be written to address threats to critical business processes with the highest probability. A Risk Assessment Exercise will be given to each department and college at NC State University to facilitate gathering this information. The Director of Business Continuity facilitates the exercise and templates are available for each campus department/college to use.
