Excepted Quantity Limits

Very small quantities of hazardous materials may be exempt from the marking, labeling, and documentation requirements of IATA.  Shippers must still properly classify their materials then complete and affix an excepted quantity label onto the outer packaging.  Consult the Excepted Quantity Limits table to determine which shipments qualify as excepted quantity.
