| Pollution Prevention and Good Housekeeping is a key element of the University’s stormwater management program. This measure requires all component organizations to examine and subsequently alter their own actions to help ensure a reduction in the amount and type of pollution that discharges into local surface waters. The Stormwater Management Program has identified municipal and industrial operations within component organizations of the University whose daily operations typically impact the quality of stormwater runoff. These component organizations are required to develop and implement a stormwater pollution prevention plan and incorporate best management practices into their daily operations.
