Prevent, Protect, Provide, Promote

North Carolina State University’s Fire Protection Division works closely with the campus community to promote Fire and Life Safety. These goals are met by the provision of educational fire safety programs, building inspections, and by helping assure applicable codes are met for new construction and renovations.

Departmental Goals

Prevent loss of Life and Property in the University community.

Protect students, faculty, staff, guests, and property during hazardous and life threatening incidents.

Provide efficient and courteous response in emergency situations.

Promote Fire and Life Safety through awareness education.
