Refunds

Members may request a refund of a course or event fee by contacting the Encore office at least two weeks prior to the start of the course or date of the event. A $10 processing fee will be charged. No refunds will be given for events with fees of $15 or less. Because of contractual obligations, trips of more than one day's duration may have different cancellation rules, including a higher cancellation fee.

If Encore cancels a course or activity, you will be notified and given a choice of a full refund or application of the fees to another course in the same semester. No credits will be held over to the next semester. Please allow four to six weeks for processing of refunds.

Refund of membership fees is made only in extreme cases with requests submitted via a letter detailing specific reasons.
