Energy - Equipment Efficiencies

Once opportunities are identified through Facility Audits, funding is secured to do conservation projects around campus. Because upgrades are not always visible, these projects often happen without noticing. However, there are many efficiency projects going on around campus in lighting, motor upgrades, and heating and air conditioning controls. For more details, go to the Projects page.

NCSU strives to purchase the most efficient technology available and are continuously exploring new technology. Campus departments and student are encouraged to buy Energy Star© rated products for use around offices, laboratories, and residence halls.
