NCSU Energy Management - NOT COOL LIST (Not Concerned Over Outside Lighting)

At Energy Management we are concerned about outside lighting for two reasons:

  1. The perception it creates on campus is that we don't care and aren't watching (which is not true).
  2. While lighting represents only a fraction of the total energy use on campus, turning unneccessary lighting off will reduce our energy consumption, greenhouse gas emmissions, and ultimately our water use.
