NCSU Energy Management - Water Consumption

NCSU has been steadily decreasing its' water used per square foot since we began measuring in 2001-2002. From an initial measurement for 2001-2002 of 49.37 gallons per square foot the measurement for FY 2006-07 was 34.98 gallons per square foot. This is a 29.14% decrease per square foot.

• 2001-2002: 49.37 gallons per square foot
• 2002-2003: 40.47 gallons per square foot
• 2003-2004: 43.54 gallons per square foot
• 2004-2005: 40.30 gallons per square foot
• 2005-2006: 39.04 gallons per square foot
• 2006-2007: 34.98 gallons per square foot
