The building and classroom must allow clear and safe passage for students who travel by wheelchair, scooter, crutches, etc. Responsibilities are as follows:

Instructor

Make sure not to block entrances, exits, or travel routes in and around the classroom.
Report any access problems or barriers to the Building Liaison and to Cheryl Branker, Associate Vice Provost and ADA Coordinator.
Contact the University Fire Marshal, Bill Stevenson, if you would like to discuss evacuation procedures and planning.

Student

Register during priority registration and select course locations with access in mind.
Contact the instructor, the Building Liaison and to Cheryl Branker, Associate Vice Provost and ADA Coordinator if there are any access problems/barriers.
Contact the University Fire Marshal, Bill Stevenson, if you would like to discuss evacuation procedures and planning.

DSO

Refer concerns and problems to the ADA Coordinator for investigation and possible solutions.
